90% of the people on LinkedIn have no clue why they are on LinkedIn or how to use it!

I don’t have any concrete research to back up the 90% number.  But based on conversations that I have with people that I know and meet every day, 90% isn’t far off the mark.

This book is designed for the new LinkedIn user or the current user who is still trying to figure out how to use LinkedIn to expand their networking and grow their business.  It will help you understand the basics of LinkedIn, the various features and how to navigate the site.  It also includes strategies that will help you move from a novice to a productive user.
 

In Less than 6 Days you will understand how to use LinkedIn and how to build your first 100 connections with people you know or meet through networking.

This is the strategy I used to go from 20 connections to over 225 connections.  This isn’t a strategy to connect to people you don’t know and will never meet face-to-face.  This strategy shows you how to grow your connections with people that are actively networking in your community.  These are connections that you can sit down with to share a cup of coffee and discuss business.

If you have only 1 connection or 50 connections it doesn’t matter.  You can add 100 connections by following the four step process that I explain.  If I wanted to I could go to the chamber in the next county and be one of the top connected people within a week.
 

Everything you do on LinkedIn either adds to or subtracts from your credibility.  I show you “11 Ways to Use LinkedIn” and “11 LinkedIn Mistakes” to avoid.

I’ve learned from my mistakes.  Now you can have the same information that I learned the hard way,  You benefit by avoiding them in the first place.  Let me give you an example.  I took an hour one day to work on my profile.  I planned what I wanted to say and then jumped online and started typing away.  I was so proud of it that I couldn’t wait to publish it live.  I even sent a couple of people an email notifying them that I had a new profile.  Within 15 minutes I got an email from a friend, J Snypp, saying that he thought the profile was very good but that I might want to check the spelling.  Now I use a word editor and spell check everything.

I’ve also learned over time how to use LinkedIn to grow my business and help my connections.  In “11 Ways to Use LinkedIn” I discuss how I used LinkedIn to introduce D’Lesa Medlin, who does payroll, to Dixie McCurley, who is a CPA.  D’lesa’s office was in the same building as Dixie’s and she had been trying to network into the CPA firm for two years.  Using LinkedIn I was able to connect the two and now D’Lesa has a new referral partner that is sending her continuous business.
 

Much of what is covered in this book can be found for free on the internet. 

Name any topic and likely you can do enough research online to learn it for free.  The question you have to answer is “What is your time worth?”  Lets say you can find all of the information in this book in 15 hours of online research.  Divide the cost of the book $29.95 by 15 hours and you just got paid roughly $2 an hour.  I hope your time is worth more than that.

Plus no amount of research will provide you with the personal insights that are sprinkled throughout the book.  You also won’t find the “11 Ways to Use LinkedIn”, the “11 LinkedIn Mistakes”, the “7 Ways to Enhance Your LinkedIn Profile”, or how to get “100 Connections in a Week”.

I could go on and on about how this book will help you take advantage of LinkedIn, but by now you get the point.  There are almost 21 million people registered on LinkedIn, and it’s just starting to get rolling.  Don’t waste your time or get left behind.
